Here is a Lucite plastic Hanukkah menorah by Astrolite Products that bears an original Astrolite Products label.  The menorah is 18” wide by 5-1/2” tall by 2-3/4” deep.  It is a beautifully modern take on ancient tradition.

The menorah has a place for nine candles and is lit during the eight-day holiday of Hanukkah.  The ninth holder, called the shamash (“helper” or “servant”), is reserved for the candle used to light the other candles. The holder for the shamash candle is distinguished from the other eight, which sit at the same height.  Traditionally, the shamash is placed higher than the others, often in the center, with four of the other candles on each side.  The order of lighting begins with the rightmost in the row relative to the person lighting, and each candle is lit using either the shamash or a different candle or match. Each night afterwards for the next seven nights, one additional candle is lit.
