Here is a Krups Electronic wall clock in blue. These clocks have a great retro feel but would easily be at home amongst contemporary décor. It is a timeless elegance considering they are now forty years old. Consider them an easy way to get a pop of color into a room. This blue clock is identical to the green and red Krups battery operated wall clocks I have previously posted about.
The face of the clock is graced with a modern, bold- colored graphic set against metallic hands. Split white stylized circles serve as the 12, 3, 6, and 9. The line that divides the circle is repeated to designate the other positions on the clock face but in positive instead of negative. I hadn’t noticed it before but the circles look like scored pills! The face of the clock is protected by a transparent plastic covering. The clock is stamped ‘12 73’ on the back, dating it to December, 1973.

The sticker on the reverse side at the left is a suggestion, make that an advertisement, for the battery you should use in the clock. It is written in three languages, German, English, and French. “When changing the battery use VARTA SUPER DRY”. Image source: eBay (different from above).
