Here are the items that were shared the week of April 15, 2013. Included were a sculptural object, a clock, a bed tray, a pair of lamps, a spoon rest, a portable television, a desk fan, and a coffee grinder.
Monday, April 15, 2013: Rare sculptural object “Guscio N°1” (Shell #1) by Gio Pomodoro and produced by Alessi D’Apres (1972). The outside is stainless steel and the inside is yellow polypropylene. Signed “Gio Pomodoro” and marked “Alessi D’Apres” and “AGN472”.
Wednesday, April 17, 2013: Multi-purpose tray, serving folding table, designed by Luigi Massoni for Guzzini, Italy. White high impact polystyrene plastic serving tray in the original bag and box. The tray measures 58cm by 35cm with height 23cm. See also the 8800 (7800) bed table by Olaf von Bohr for Kartell (1970).
Thursday, April 18, 2013: Vintage bubble table lamps in an interesting form. Plastic tulip base. Measures 11-1/2” tall by 7-1/2” diameter.
Friday, April 19, 2013: Vintage resin spoon rest with simulated wood and powerful, bold blocks of color. Approximately 6-1/2” in length.
Saturday, April 20, 2013: Sharp portable television, model 3S-111R. The screen is 5”, the height of the television is 10”. The metallic handle just below the screen protector comes out for carrying. The television can also detach from the pedestal, Model AA-101R. Here is the entry for this TV at radiomuseum.org.
Saturday, April 20, 2013: Red and black Calor (France) desk fan. Red body, black fins and base. The fan measures 6-1/2” in height.
Sunday, April 21, 2013: Dark blue Krups coffee or spice grinder, Type 203.
