playing cards alarm clock | Elgin, West Germany

Here is an Elgin wind up alarm clock with a playing cards or poker theme.  The front face reads “ELGIN / ALARM” and at the bottom reads “WESTERN GERMANY” in an arc.

A large red button at the top is used to silence the alarm.  The dial is red with white numerals and clock hands.  The alarm hand is red.  The front case of the clock features the four suits, clockwise from upper left spades, hearts, clubs, and diamonds.

    

The sides of the clock feature cards:  the King of Spades and the Queen of Diamonds.

The top of the clock features the button used to silence the alarm and a group of cards in a fan arrangement.

The clock measures 3-1/8” on all sides.  The bottom measures 3” and has a backward slant.

eBay item 221206515483 ended April 2, 2013 at 20:00:17 PDT (United States).  No bids at $20, which is too bad because in the right setting, this clock would be fab!
