In my post about the Genie server carafe, I mentioned the “lighted beverage glass” patented by David Douglas in 1975 with a filing date in 1973. Called Glow goblets, these glasses featured a light bulb illuminated base, powered by a single AA battery. The glasses each measure 8” in height.
